AC.UI is built with our tried-and-true UI.X framework for XenForo 2. We have deliberated and meticulously fine-tuned AC.UI until it is truly the most modern and ideal interface for communities and no detail is missed.
Every front size was optimized for legibility, every padding was considered, navigation for mobile devices was completely re-worked, and more were altered from base XenForo for the best user experience and discoverability.

If you are a XenForo Cloud customer, your upgrade will be scheduled automatically.

As always, new releases of XenForo are free to download for all customers with active licenses. You may now upgrade from your admin control panel or grab the new version from the customer area.


Current requirements
Please note that XenForo 2.3 has higher system requirements than earlier versions.

The following are minimum requirements:

PHP 7.2 or newer (PHP 8.3 recommended)
MySQL 5.7 and newer (Also compatible with MariaDB/Percona etc.)
All of the official add-ons require XenForo 2.3.
Enhanced Search requires at least Elasticsearch 7.2.

Description
RM Download From List brings the download button from resource view to resources list (index and category) to allow direct view of which resources can be downloaded or not.

To better track what you have downloaded, the download button changes from Download Now to Downloaded once the resource has been downloaded until a new update of the resource.

A Collection of improvements to XF's warning system

Warnings/Bans with time-based expiry are now be removed on the 1st visit after the expiry time, rather than needing to wait for the hourly cron task to run.

Custom Username Icons brings a new level of customization for you and your users !
This add-on lets your user select one or multiple icons icon to be displayed near their username everywhere on your board.
Icons can be selected either from a list of Font Awesome icons (more than 500 icons) or from a list of images icons of your choice.

How does it works?
The addon integrates seamlessly with the same library that XenForo uses for attachment uploads. Each time you upload a large file, it gets uploaded in small chunks. When all the chunks are uploaded, the addon rebuilds the final file and then feeds it to the regular XenForo uploading process.

The addon creates a temporary directory at internal_data/chunked_uploads to store the temporal chunks and rebuilt versions of the uploaded files. It enforces XenForo to use the local internal_data/ directory instead of the remote flysystem location, if applicable. This directory is pruned occasionally.
Instructions
Configure the addon under the Options > Attachments page.
If you need to increase your maximum attachment file size, choose a conservative value and make some upload tests to decide if it's a file size that works for your server. Increase it or decrease depending of your test results.

Troubleshooting

Please be aware that Redis is very sensitive to latency in a virtual environment. If repeated connection failures or protocol errors are experienced disable any Redis Persistence options.

Options
By default, forum thread counts are cached. In general, this is observable when moving large number of threads from one forum to another, and the total page counts are wrong.
